PLAGIARISM
Nowadays we are live in
the technological world which we’re just a click away to accessing the web
through our browser in our gadget with millions and even billions result. Technology
has positive and negative side. Positive it can make all of our work becomes
easy, also has the negative side like plagiarism. For me Plagiarism means the free
act of following, taking, copying other people’s works, creators and ideas. Big
Indonesian Dictionary said that Plagiarism is activities that violate copyright.
This is certainly not a pattern of ethical behavior, especially in the academic
word. The only main source of plagiarism is the lack of our insight into the
pattern of a good quotes on the writing process. So that causing many
plagiarists were ignoring the source of writing, theory or idea it comes from. To
prevent plagiarism, people’s are allowed to quote an idea or theory which has
been conveyed by another person. Quotation it self is refers to someone’s writing
activity to include where the theory or idea came from in the writing process
which has been doing by someone. what I
know there are two types of plagiarism. First is Online Plagiarism, online
plagiarism is refers to the act of someone who claiming other’s online work
become his own work. This kind called online plagiarism, because online
plagiarism is often carried out by plagiarists who are conducting online searches
through the internet. The only reason someone doing online plagiarism is the
easy access to unlimited digital information on the internet, which then not be
matched by awareness in conducting good academic writing by searchers. Second is
Auto plagiarism, auto plagiarism it refers to the action of someone who
claiming someone’s academic satatement from various papers by not quoting where
the idea or statement came from. However, all about the plagiarism can be
called to be form as violations, hijacking and adulteration.
